Xueqin Zhou received his B.S. in Polymer Materials from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1995 and then his Ph.D.  in Chemistry from Zhejiang University in 2001. Li joined the faculty of the Fine Chemical Engineering Department becoming an Associate Professor in 2004 as she finished two-year postdoctoral program in School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tianjin University. Zhou’s research expertise and interest are in the area of organic functional materials, with specific focus on the design, synthesis, properties and applications of photoelectronic functional dyes, thermochromic materials, photochromic materials, organic semiconductors and  fundamental research on the production technology of all these dyes and pigments.
