    Honors and awards


    According to International standards BS7448, the key technique of CTOD test of welded joint was achieved and the application in dozens of Marine Project have avoid PWHT successlly.  Invited by State Committee for Standardization, Tianjin University was the first unit in charge of drafting the State standard "Test Method of Quasi-static fracture toughness for metal welded joints".

    Developed autonomously a safety assessment software based on British Standard BS7910. This software can assess the safty of the oceaneering structures laying and in-service which reducing repair costs and provide the basis for the safe use. For the first time at home and abroad proposed a new concept of spraying modification to solve the fatigue life extension problem of the welded structure under high stress.
