Beibei Yan is a professor in School of Environmental Science and Technology, Tianjin University. As the coordinator, she has undertook National key R&D plan international innovation cooperation key project, several National Science and Technology Support Programs, National Natural Science Foundation Programs, Tianjin Natural Science Fund Projects and Tianjin Outstanding Fund Project. The accumulated research funding is higher than 10 million RMB. As for academic achievements, she has received Tianjin Prize for Progress in Science and Technology (2023, first prize, ranked No.1), Tianjin Prize for Progress in Science and Technology (2012, first prize, ranked No.2), National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology (2015, second prize, ranked No.9) and Outstanding Young Scientific Workforce of Tianjin Innovation Talents Promotion Plan (2016), Tianjin Youth Science and Technology Award (2019), Title of Tianjin Young and Middle-aged Technological Innovation Leader (2019). For teaching skill, she has won the Tianjin Prize for Educational Achievement (2013, first prize, ranked No.8) and Excellent Instructor for Graduation Design in Tianjin University (2018). She was the first or corresponding author for 36 top journals in the field of energy and environment such as Progress in Energy and Combustion Science and Environmental Science & Technology. She has obtained 19 authorized patents, 3 PCT international patents, 5 software copyrights, also has 20 patents are under applying. Besides, she also published two books as co-author.
