个人简介

 

Dr. Jingjing Pei is Associate professor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Tianjin University. Received B. Eng. Degree and M.S. Degree from Tianjin University in 2004 and 2006, respectively. Earned her Ph.D. Degree at Syracuse University, USA in 2011. Visiting scholar at Syracuse University, USA 2014-2015.Member of ASHRAE and ISIAQ (International Society of Indoor Air Quality).

Research interests: indoor environment quality (IEQ) and air cleaning technology. Her PhD study focused on the mechanism investigation and modeling of adsorption and catalytic oxidization for gas pollutant removal. She is the Principle Investigator of two projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) “On the performance and mechanism of catalytic oxidization method for indoor formaldehyde removal at room temperature”(2013-2015),“Research on Correlation Characteristics between indoor Semi-volatile Organic Compounds and Particles influenced by Ventilation ”(2017-2020); Task leader of two projects supported by the national key project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, China on “Green Buildings and Building Industrialization” .

She is also the Principle Investigator of more than 10 industrial collaboration projects, including “Characteristics and Health impact of volatile organic compounds in commercial aircraft cabins” supported by Boeing Company USA and China COMAC, focusing on air quality control in aircraft cabins, and performance of gaseous chemical pollutant control material and devices. She also leaded the development of the Chinese Standard “Test Method For Assessing The Performance of Gas-Phase Air Cleaning Media And Devices For General Ventilation”, which is the first such one in China.

She has published 77 peer-reviewed journal and international conference papers. The 27 first/corresponding-authored SCI papers are cited 237 times by others, the H-index is 13. Two of her papers were rewarded the “Best Paper Award” by the top-level international journals in the field of building environment. She was awarded the ASHRAE Grand-in-Aid certificate, won the Technical Invention Award of Tianjin (second place) as the second accomplisher, and was awarded as the Young Science and Technology Excellent Expert of the Tianjin Innovation Expert Program in 2017.
