Renliang Huang received B.S. (2007) degree from Taiyuan University of Technology and Ph.D. (2012) degree from Tianjin University (with Prof. Zhimin He), both in chemical engineering. He gained another year of research experience as a postdoctoral research fellow at National University of Singapore (with Prof. Zhi Li) in 2013. Since 2012, he joined the faculty of Tianjin University, where he is now an professor. His current research focuses on Green preparation and application of nanocelluloses and nanochitins, Seawater desalination and its integrated utilization, Environmental pollution control and marine surface antifouling. He has received 15 competitive research programs and published more than 130 papers as the first or corresponding author  in Environmental Science & Technology, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, AIChE Journal, Chemical Engineering Journal, Small, and so on.
