Dr. Li obtained his B.Eng. and M.Eng. from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2002 and 2004, respectively. He pursued his doctoral study at the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Singapore afterwards and obtained his Ph.D. in 2009. He worked in industry in Singapore till 2011. Then he joined Tianjin University as a faculty member of the School of Mechanical Engineering in 2012. His research interests include fundamental heat and mass transfer and combustion issues in various applications such as micro-scale combustion and micro power devices, geothermal energy utilization and underground coal fires.
