个人简介
Dr. Yundong Shi is an Associate Professor at the Civil Engineering Department, Tianjin University. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Tongji University and Ph.D. degree from Kyoto University, Japan. Dr. Shi's research focuses on the vibration control and enhancement of functionality of structures under seismic and wind loadings through control technologies. His work includes theoretical, analytical and experimental studies. Particular research areas include the development of 3D base isolation systems for large-span structures and floor isolation systems for prefabricated structures. He is also engaged in developing the new generation of smart control by combining the EEW (earthquake early warning theory) and semi-active control theories in the practical applications to isolation systems, large-span structures, high-rise structures and bridges.
