个人简介
Dr. Jia obtained his BEng in Civil Engineering from Hohai University, China, in 2004 and his MEng in Geotechnical Engineering from the same university in 2007. He obtained his PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from Saga University, Japan, in 2010. He did postdoctoral research at Institute of Lowland and Marine Research, Saga University, Japan, from October 2010 to March 2013, and worked as a guest associate professor at Institute of Lowland and Marine Research, Saga University, Japan, from April 2013 to March 2014. Now he is working as an associate professor at School of Civil Engineering, Tianjin University, China. His research interests focus on engineering properties of soft clay and ground improvement, numerical simulation of geotechnical engineering, shield tunnelling and nuclear density cone penetration testing.
