Dr. Cheng is dedicated to the basic research in the field of clean disposal and efficient utilization of organic solid waste, and combustion reaction kinetics, including experimental and mechanism studies of waste and biomass combustion, gasification and pyrolysis, based on VUV photoionization mass spectrometry technology. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal papers, some of which were published in the top journals in the field of Enviromental and Energy, such as JACS, EST, CnF, ProCI, and other high-level journals.
