Brief Introduction

Dr. Xiaopeng Si works as an associate Professor at Tianjin University. Dr. Si obtained his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University (Department of Biomedical Engineering, and IDG/McGovern Brain Institute), and finished his visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Si focused on human neuroscience and neruoengineering. He used multimodal neuroimaging and machine learning methods to understand the cognitive processes. He tried to apply these mechanisms in people with brain disorders, such as epilepsy. Dr. Si also tried to enhance normal people's abliity by creating mind reading technology.


Research interests: 

Brain science and neural engineering, cognitive neuroscience and brain-inspired intelligence, minimally invasive implantable brain-computer interface, multimodal neuroimaging and brain network, etc.
