Yingyi Zhang, Ph.D.Associate Professor, School of Disaster and Emergency Medicine, Tianjin UniversityDr. Zhang earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from Xiamen University and her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Nankai University. She further honed her expertise as a researcher at Mayo Clinic, USA. Her laboratory investigates mechanisms of cellular damage, aging, and thermogenesis, alongside radiation-induced epigenetic remodeling and transcriptional regulation, employing model organisms such as mice and C. elegans.As an active contributor to the scientific community, Dr. Zhang serves on the Youth Editorial Board of Exploration and Metabolism and Target Organ Damage. She also peer-reviews manuscripts for leading journals including eLife, Thoracic Cancer, Journal of Cellular Physiology, and Journal of Bio-X Research.
