Min SHEN is currently an associate professor at Tianjin University, Department of Mechanics, and School of Mechanical Engineering. He received his MS and PhD degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin in PR China, in 1991 and 2001 respectively. He had worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Laboratoire de Mécanique et de Physique des Matériaux, UMR CNRS/ENSMA n°6617 in France from Dec. 2^st 2004 to Dec. 1^st 2005. His major interests are in the areas of Experimental Solid Mechanics (moiré interferometry, and digital image correlation techniques) ,  Mechanics of Composite Materials, . He is the author and coauthor of more than 20 scientific papers.
