HUANG He , Distinguish Professor of BioChemical Engineering and Technology. She received her Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical from Tianjin Medical University in China and earned her Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering at Tianjin University. After receiving her doctorate, she was trained as a postdoctoral fellow at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL-Heidelberg). In 2006, she joined Tianjin University as an Associate Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology.

Dr. Huang is currently working on biomedical engineering, microbial genomics, and synthetic biology. Her research interests include antibody engineering, engineered probiotics, as well as intestinal flora and disorders of gastrointestinal tract.
