Jixiang Chen received his BS (1993) from
Hebei Normal University, MS (1995) from Nankai University and PhD (2001) from Tianjin
University. After he obtained Ph D degree in Industrial Catalysis at Tianjin
University, Dr. Chen joined Department of Catalysis Science and Technology,
School of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Tianjin University. He is associate
professor from October 2003. Dr. Chen’ research interest focuses on the catalytic
conversion of biomass to fuel/chemicals and selective hydrogenation on
transition metal phosphide and nickel-based alloy and intermetallic compound catalysts.
He has published over 50 papers included in SCIE on the peer-reviewed journals.
