Feng Yaqing, Professor at School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, obtained a bachelor degree in Tianjin University in 1978 majored in the Dyes and Intermediates; a master degree from Department of Chemical Engineering, Tianjin University in 1984 majored in Applied Chemistry; a Ph.D. degree in Organic Synthesis in 1994 from the Technical University of Vienna, Austria. From1989 to 1991, she was a visiting scholar in the Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETH). Since 1994, she has been employed at School of Chemical Engineering and technology, Tianjin University, doing research in areas including 1) the photoelectric functional materials; 2) fine chemical synthesis and industrial production;3) fabrication of electronic papers and so on.
