Guo Juanli is currently a lecturer in Tianjin University. She received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Architecture Institute, Tianjin University in 2008 and 2010 respectively. She took part in Solar Decathlon in 2010, Sustainable Energy Europe Award, and designed the first "zero energy consumption" solar house in China. Her current research interests are Green Building, Constructional House and Housing Industrialization, Solar Building Integrated Design.
Guo Juanli researched the exurbs live and space physical environment and environmental psychological quality of office module (Combining ergonomics and environmental psychology to optimize the physical environment of container space to meet the needs of human comfort). She is the director of this project: Natural lighting and ventilation environment in the Malacca Theatre, Malaysia (Combining aesthetics with building technology to optimize the design of the physical environment of the theater).

- In the area of Solar Building, as the main participation of Solar Decathlon in Europe, 2010, I studied on utilization of initiative and passive solar energy technology, design of solar building integration.
- In the area of Green Building Techniques, I optimize the design and evaluate building performance on natural lighting, ventilation and technology integration of green building, with the combine of building design.
- In the area of Prefabricated Building, my research mainly aims at modular design method, integrated design and node thermal performance study of exterior protected construction. I also evaluate and analysis green construction in the process of prefabricated construction.
