Dr. Hu is working as an associate professor at the Institute of Surface-Earth System Science (ISESS), School of Earth System Science (SESS), Tianjin University (TJU) from April 2018. He earned the degree of B.Eng. in China Agricultural University (2011), M.S. degree in Peking University (2014), and the doctoral degree at the Prefectural University of Kumamoto, Japan (2017) under the support of the State Scholarship Fund from China Scholarship Council (CSC).
His research interests are mainly in atmospheric processes of microorganisms, and aerosol chemistry and physics. He has published and been involved in publishing 100 papers in academic journals, e.g., Atmos. Chem. Phys., J. Geophys. Res. Atmos., and Biogeosciences.
