As Principal Investigator, he completed three NSFC projects, one 863 project and one Hebei Province - Tianjin University Higher Education Institutions Development Fund project. He hosts multiple latitudinal projects and received a number of national and provincial awards. As Co-Principal Investigator, he completed one 973 project and two Key Programs of NSFC, one National Science and Technology Major Project, four NSFC projects, one Key Program of Tianjin Committee of Science and one Key Program of Natural Science Foundation of Tianjin.
He has published more than 100 papers in the domestic and foreign core journals, including more than 50 SCI and EI papers and has more than 10 patent grants. He is also the special reviewer of [ENERGY], [FUEL], [ Combustion Science and Technology] and [Journal of Internal Combustion Engine].
