Xingyu Liang is currently a professor of State Key Laboratory of Engines in Tianjin University, China.He received Ph.D degrees from the Tianjin University in 2006.
He has led several projects including 3 National Natural Science Foundation(NSFC) Projects, 2 National Defense Basic Research Projects and 1 High-Tech Ship Engineering Project. He has also participated in a National 973 Project (the second participant) and a Low Speed Marine Engine Project (the forth participant) with total funds of 32Million RMB. He has published 47 papers (indexed by SCI) in referred international journals including Fuel, Energy&Fuel, Energy, Applied Energy, etc. The total citations are more than 500 and H index is 14. Two papers are highly cited on top 1% of ESI. Searching latest 5-year SCI articles with keywords of ‘lubricating oil particulate matter’ in web of science database, my articles account for 5.01% of the total global amount, ranking 3th among all the scholars worldwide. Besides, He has published 16 SAE world congress papers and 12 national invention patents.
He has been awarded the New Century Excellent Talents by the Ministry of Education of China in 2011, Beiyang Reserved Academic Young Research Scholar by Tianjin University in 2016, and the Shaoxi Shi Scholarship of China in 2007, etc. In research field, He has been awarded 4 times by government, including the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2015 (the seventh awardees), the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the China National Federation of Machinery Industry in 2014 (the eighth awardees), The First Prize of Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Awards in 2007 (the forth awardees) and The Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Awards of Ministry of Education in 2006 (the sixth awardees).
