Brief Introduction

Prof. Changlong Liu received his B.S. degree in Department of Physics in Nanjing University in1989. And then he joined the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the institute. In 1999, he became a Postdoc Fellow in University of Surrey in UK. One year later, he came back to China and serve as an associate research fellow in the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was Postdoc fellow and the visiting scholar from 2001 to 2003 in the Irradiation of the National Research Center of France and the High Power Device Laboratory of European ST Microelectronics Company. He is a professor in the Department of Physics, School of Science in Tianjin University since 2003.

His research mainly focuses on ion irradiation induced defects in solids and Ion beam induced modifications of materials. In this field many experimental and theory works have been done. Especially in recent years, a great amount of achievements have been acquired in this field, such as the influences of ion implantation on the surface damage, structural defect of the semiconductor materials, the synthesis and modulations of nanoparticles in photoelectric materials with ion implantation. He published more than 120 papers in the SCI journals.
