Brief Introduction

Fengzhang Luo is with School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, since 2011. He studied at Stanford University and the University of Tennessee, USA, as a visiting scholar from November 2014 to December 2015. His current interests are the theoretic research and software development of evaluation, analysis & optimal planning of urban distribution networks and active distribution networks. In the related field, he hosts 16 projects and participates 16 projects from Chinese Governments’ foundations or utilities’ funds. He has published 60+ papers (30+ are included in SCI/EI) and 1 book, authorized 11 Chinese invention patents. Dr. Luo has won the 2nd prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award in 2010, two 1st prize of Tianjin Scientific and Technological Progress Award in 2009 and 2015, and the Excellence prize of Chinese Patent Award in 2011.
