Dr. Juntong Qi, deputy director, professor and doctoral supervisor of Institute of Robotics and Autonomous System, Tianjin University. For the past many years, Dr. Qi has accumulated a lot of achievements and rich experience in the robot control technology area, which mainly focused on 4 fields: environmental perception & understanding, behavior & decision-making optimization, environmental interaction and multi-robot cooperation.

Dr. Qi has been in charge of more than 40 research projects financed by National Natural Science Foundation, National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program) and National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program), etc.He won the China's Patent Excellence Award, the first-ranked award of science and technology progress and Natural Academic Achievements by Liaoning Province. He is also named as a Young Science and Technology Talent by Tianjin Innovative Talent Promotion Program, a Tianjin "131" Innovative Talent (First Level), an Innovation Entrepreneurship Leader Talent by Tianjin Binhai New Area, etc.

Dr. Qi is the editorial in chief of "Journal of Manufacturing and Automation", editorial member of "Journal of Control Science and Engineering", “Journal of Aerospace Science and Technology”, and “Unmanned Vehicles”; He is also a member of China Command and Control Society of Unmanned Systems Professional Committee, a director of China Agricultural Aviation Innovation Industry Alliance.
