Dr. Zang Xinyu is an associate researcher and Master’s supervisor of Urban Planning Department at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. He is a national registered urban planner. He is the deputy director of the Institute of Urban Space and Urban Design, and also, the member of the Academic Work Committee and the Urban Planning Professional Committee of Tianjin Urban Planning Association. His main research fields include Urban Resilience, Eco-city Theory and Practice and Urban Design. For now, He has hosted 5 scientific research projects and participated in 14 scientific research projects, published 6 books (4 as the main author and 2 participate editing) and 45 academic papers, and has won one National Excellent Planning Design Award and 10 Tianjin Excellent Planning Design Awards.
