Manting Xie received his Ph.D.(2017) from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and B.S.(2012) from Shandong Normal University, respectively. In 2017, he joined the Center for Applied Mathematics, Tianjin university, as a lecturer to study computational mathematics. Currently, he is a member of CSIAM.
Dr. Xie's research interest in finite element methods and the efficient algorithms for eigenvalue problems and PDEs. He is currently working on numerical methods for nonlinear problems, such as phase field equations, Bose-Einstein condensates, etc.
