Graduated from the Department of Energy and Power Engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong University. Received doctor degree in 1995 in Thermal Energy Research Institute of Tianjin University. Appointed the professor of Tianjin University in December 1997, and appointed doctoral tutor and academic leader of Thermal Energy Research Institute of Tianjin University in May 1999.
The main academic honors: member of IIR commission B1, member of IIR work party on refrigerant system safety group and LCCP evaluation group, member of Chinese society of engineering thermophysics, member of academic committee of Chinese association of refrigeration, member of national technical committee 459 on energy system of standardization administration of China, managing director of Tianjin association of refrigeration, and vice president of Tianjin refrigeration and air-conditioning association.
