Ming Zeng received the M.S. degree from Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2006. He was a Senior Research Associate with the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2009. From 2014 to 2015, he was a Visiting Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, USA. Since 2011, he has been the Vice Director of the Institute of Robotics and Autonomous Systems with Tianjin University, Tianjin. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University. His current research interests include image processing, pattern recognition and machine learning, deep learning, robot-based odor source localization, nonlinear dynamics, complex networks, and time series analysis.
