I received the Ph.D. degree in probability
theory and mathematical statistics from the School of Mathematical Science,
Nankai University, Tianjin, China. Currently, I work as a Full Professor with
the School of Mathematics, and a Vice-Director with the Institute of TV and
Image Information, all at Tianjin University (TJU), Tianjin. I was a
Post-Doctoral Fellow in signal and information processing with the School of
Electronic and Information Engineering, TJU. My current research interests
include sampling, approximation and reconstruction of random signals, statistical
analysis of random processes, and big date processing on random fields, in
which I and my group have published over 80 scientific papers, including 《IEEE Trans.
Information Theory》《IEEE Trans. Cybernetics》《Neurocomputing》《Ocean Engineering》《Optics
Letters》《Science in China Series A》《ICCV》.
