Personal Profile

I am an Associate Research Professor and Ph.D. advisor in the Department of Marine Technology, School of Marine Science and Technology, Tianjin University. I received my B.Eng. in Engineering Mechanics and Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics from Tianjin University in 2012 and 2017, respectively. From 2017 to 2019, I conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Hydraulic Engineering at Tsinghua University.

My current research interests include intelligent ocean observation technologies, ocean digital twins, smart water resources management, marine energy technologies, sediment dynamics, hydrodynamic regulation and material transport in lakes and reservoirs, morphodynamic processes and associated environmental effects in large estuaries under human activities, and the modeling of hydrodynamic and ecological processes. My research has been published in journals including Water Research, Journal of Hydrology, Science of the Total Environment, and Journal of Marine Systems. I have served as principal investigator on a number of national and provincial research projects, including a Young Scientists Fund project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a subproject under the National Key Research and Development Program of China, and a project funded by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. I also serve as a Youth Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Sediment Research.

Highly motivated students interested in intelligent ocean technologies, smart water resources, marine energy technologies, hydrodynamics, aquatic environments, and sediment dynamics are encouraged to apply to our master's and Ph.D. programs. Applicants with backgrounds in ocean science and engineering, hydraulic engineering, hydrology, mechanical engineering, mechanics, mathematics, computer science, environmental and earth science, civil engineering, and related fields are welcome.
