Tianjin University and Fuzhou University Sign a Cooperation Agreement

On January 22, Tianjin University and Fuzhou University signed a cooperation agreement on Tianjin University Weijin Road Campus. The two sides will complement each other’s strengths and promote all-round cooperation in teaching, scientific research and faculty and student exchange.

Vice President of Tianjin University Zhang Fengbao and Vice President of Fuzhou University Huang Zhigang signed the Agreement on Establishing Comprehensive Cooperation, witnessed by Li Jiajun, Secretary of Tianjin University Party Committee, Zhao Meirong, Deputy Secretary of Tianjin University Party Committee, Chen Yongzheng, Secretary of the Fuzhou University Party Committee and Fu Xianzhi, President of Fuzhou University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Before signing, Tianjin University and Fuzhou University held discussions on future cooperation.

The two universities discussed how to facilitate innovation and break down barriers to cooperation. Both parties vowed to create an innovative atmosphere, cooperate on high-level student training, work together to make first-class advances and contribute to national economic and social development.

According to the agreement, the two universities will focus on cooperation in student training, educational reform, disciplinary construction, faculty team building, scientific and technological innovation and community service.
