On March 29, the Mutual-selection Spring Job Fair was held at the Weijin Road Campus., attracting 287 employers from 16 provinces and municipalities and about 2000 graduates.
The job fair contained 8 categories: internet communications, automation, mechanical and intelligent manufacturing, architectural design, biopharmaceutical, chemical materials, education, and finance and consumer packaged goods, as well as consulting booths for international organization internships, conscription of college students, resume writing, interview skills and career planning, among others.
The most popular employers included the Jinchang Municipal Organization Department, the Tianjin Binhai Civil-military Integrated Innovation Institute, Inspur Group, Zhongxin Pharmaceuticals, Alibaba Cloud, and the General Electric Company.
According to statistics, 8468 students will graduate this summer, including 4201 undergraduates, 3209 postgraduates, 755 doctoral students and 303 associate degree students.
There was a 10% increase in the number of employers who came to the university for recruitment on a year-on-year basis, catering to increasing demand of graduates. The employers were nearly the same ones as the last year, but changes did occur in certain categories. For example, recruitment demands increased in internet industries, automation, logistics and education, and declined in securities, finance and manufacturing.
