On April 19, the delegation of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp. Ltd paid a visit to TJU. Both parties will carry out university-enterprise cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides agreed that they will take full advantages of each other’s resources to boost the industry-university collaboration, which will focus on the following issues — the research of key technologies in engineering construction, the development of management platform and talent cultivation.
TJU’s Party Secretary Li Jiajun said that TJU highly valued the cooperation between the two parties and will give full play to the market advantage of Architectural Design and Research Institute of TJU and the advantages of talent cultivation and scientific research of TJU’s School of Architecture, School of Civil Engineering and College of Management and Economics, so as to boost TJU’s academy as well as enhancing the quality and reputation of the China Construction Fifth Engineering Division in terms of enterprise engineering construction. He also encouraged TJU students to work at the Division in the future.
Tian Weiguo, Chairman of the Board and Party Secretary of the Division wished that based on the major construction projects of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division and TJU’s scientific research and design resources, the two sides would develop new projects and summarize the achievements, in order to improve the construction technologies and deepen the industry-university-research collaboration. He added that the Division was willing to work with TJU and co-host the 2019 Global Infrastructure Project Forum.
