On May 5, Tianjin University (TJU) Vice President Yuan Yingjin and his delegation visited Guangdong Province to promote scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges. Leaders of the Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province met with TJU delegation.
The two parties had in-depth discussions on the implementation of major research projects, prospective research layout, scientific and technological achievements commercialization and research platform establishment in Guangdong Province. The engineering strength of Tianjin University will provide technical supports for the development of local real economy.
Consequently, the TJU delegation and the representatives of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. held a discussion. Both parties exchanged views on the national strategy on artificial intelligence, big data, and integration of information technology with biotechnology, and shared their research results and updated progress.
