On October 24, the 22nd Academic Forum of Ph.D. Students held by the school of science, Tianjin University successfully ended. With participants of more than 170 people, the forum, the theme of which was “The Physical and Chemical Properties of Functional Materials”, featured four guest reports and three sub-forums.
Thirty-six doctoral students attended the sub-forums, two on chemistry and one on physics and presented reports covering a wide range of topics and research methods.
The forum awarded three first prizes, six second prizes, nine third prizes and 18 outstanding prizes. Eighteen participants were honored with the Forum Memorial Award.
