On April 27th, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions held the annual International Labor Day Celebration Convention at the Great Hall of People in Beijing and awarded1197people with the National Labor Medal, one of the top honors in China. Professor Wang Chengshan, from Tianjin University’s School of Electrical and Information Engineering at Tianjin University, was among the medal winners.
Prof. Wang Chengshan is now the dean of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering and Director of the Smart Grid Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education. He has been engaged in research on power system distribution network technology for a long time, and has made important contributions to the development of China's distribution network technology. His research achievements have won national science and technology awards for many times. His team has been selected as the key field innovation team by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the innovation team by the Ministry of Education.
