Global

Editor’s Note: Dehghanbordbar Zahra and Dehghanbordbar Nazanin are freshman at the School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology. They are sisters coming from Iran. Below is the story told by Nazanin, the younger sister, about their sisterhood and their bond with the university.

My life began with seeing myself through the eyes of my sister, so it's better saying my life began when our life began.

We are Persians born in Iran.

‌Let's start with the two alphabets science and music that open our hands to touching the splendid earth more closely. Our first challenge appeared when we started going to school and then understood the fact that we couldn’t be in one class because of our age gap which is 2 years. However, we do other things together such as playing the violin , going on adventures, climbing amazingly interesting mountains and riding horses. Both of us are nature and animal lovers and we know if we acquire more knowledge and information we can be closer to the nature and explore new elements. For this reason, we got very good scores in our primary school and high school. Then we chose to study in experimental science field in our high school times.

In a nutshell, after the high school, both of us had a passion to continue our education together in the interesting field of pharmaceutical science. So what can be better than a supportive hand that can give us a wing for flying around our dreams? The supportive hand came from China, a noble country with stunning old lovely culture and friendly and heartwarming people.

The marvelous University, Tianjin University was our dream school that gave us new extremely beautiful hope. We spent four months getting our certificates for completion of medical emergency training course with the high score 96 out of 100. Furthermore we passed academic IELTS exam and got TTC (teacher training English course certificate). All the achievements originated from huge motivation of getting into Tianjin University and our aspiration to appreciate the country and Chinese people in a wondrous eye.

Big thanks to TJU and ‌thanks all for hearing our story.
