In June, 2022, the 5th annual conference of Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities (ASRTU) and Sino-Russian Universities Presidents’ Forum was held online. Representatives from both China and Russia attended the event. Tianjin University (TJU) Executive Vice President Hu Wenping delivered a keynote speech on TJU’s “Building a World-Class University with the Commitment of Rejuvenating the Country through Education".
Executive Vice President Hu expressed his hope to strengthen cooperation with institutions of both China and Russia in personnel training, scientific research and facilitating regional development through the platform of ASRTU in the future.
Founded in 2011, The ASRTU is a non-government organization composed of prestigious engineering universities from China and Russia and a communicative platform under Sino-Russian Committee of Humanistic Cooperation.
