Peng Zhang received his BS (2010) and PhD (2016) from Tianjin University in Chemical Engineering. He joined the exchange program to study at the University of Maryland, College Park in the US from 2011 to 2012. He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from 2016 to 2020. Then he joined the faculty of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Tianjin University. Zhang's research focuses on the design of functional nanomaterials and catalytic conversion of solar energy.
