Tingna Shi was born in Zhejiang, China, in
1969. She received the B. S. and M. S. degrees from Zhejiang University, China,
in 1991 and 1996 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University,
China, in 2009, all in electrical engineering.She is currently a professor in the
School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, China. She
is a doctoral supervisor in two engineering fields, Electrical Engineering and Control
Science and Engineering. She has authored or coauthored over 200 papers.
Her current research interests include electrical machines and their control
systems, power electronics, and electric drives.
