Qu jianqiang received his Ph.D. from Lanzhou University in 2002 and joined Department of Chemistry, School of Science, Tianjin University. He has been an Associate Professor of Chemistry from 2003. His current research focuses on the synthesis, characterization and property of complexes with biological activity and the design, synthesis of new drug. Qu jianqiang has published more than 20 SCI papers. He has received several awards including The Science and Technology Progress Award of Gansu Province(Third Prize, 2002) and The Science and Technology Progress Award of Gansu Universities (Third Prize, 2003 and 2006).
