Brief Introduction

Professor Shuxin Wang is the director of the Key Laboratory of Mechanism Theory and Equipment Design of Ministry of Education of China. Professor Wang developed China’s first underwater glider, “Petrel”, which is a hybrid-driven underwater vehicle, as well as a surgical robot, Micro Hand, which has successfully performed several clinical trials. His research was supported by the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund of China. He was also rewarded the distinguished professor of Yantze River scholar by the Ministry of Education of China. Professor Wang is currently serving as a member of the Technical Committee on Multibody Systems Dynamics of International Federation of Theory on Machines and Mechanisms (IFToMM).
