In the past three years, the research work in the Laboratory has stepped into the new stage, with cumulative research fund of more than 60 million yuan, concluded scientific research projects of more than 80 and the projects under research of more than 100. Among them, there is separately one project of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and National Science and Technology Support program, 1 National Science and Technology Support program approved in 2013, and respectively 1 key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China and key projects of National Social Science Fund approved in 2014.
The Laboratory has 35 researchers at present including 12 professors, 20 associate professors and 3 teachers, with 1 winner of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 2 excellent talents in the new century in the Ministry of Education and 1 person of “Youth 1000 Talent Plan” in Tianjin. Within three years, it has won 1 Wuhan Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 Second Prize of Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 Third Prize of Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award, with nearly 30 domestic patents authorized. So far, it has issued 215 papers, 110 foreign language publications, and a total of 105 Chinese publications, among which, there are 73 included in SCI and 98 in EI with repeated citation. Meanwhile, there are several high-level papers emerging, with approximately 30 pieces of paper published in A-class meeting and periodicals stipulated by CCF including IEEE Trans. TPDS, IEEE JSAC, IEEE ToC, IEEE TWC, IEEE INFOCOM and IEEE ICNP.
