Yifu Yu received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in chemical engineering from Tianjin University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in industrial catalysis from the same university in 2014 under the guidance of Prof. Ming Meng. Then, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow for three years from 2014 to 2017 in Prof. Hua Zhang's group in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In September 2017, he joined in School of Science in Tianjin University as Associate Professor. His research interests focus on catalysis, including photo/electrical catalysis and thermal catalysis.
