Xianghai Guo joined the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering, School of Chemical Engineering & Technology at Tianjin University in February, 2010. He is currently a professor and works as deputy head of Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering. He received a bachelor degree of Engineering (1998) and MS degree (2001) from Tianjin University, China. He was supervised by Professor Jiaxiang Shen (member of Chinese Academy of Engineering) to get his Ph.D. degrees (2006) from the same university. He was a visiting scholar with Michael Tsapatsis (member of the National Academy of Engineering) at University of Minnesota, USA (2014-2015). Before joining the School of Chemical Engineering & Technology, he was a faculty member in the School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology at Tianjin University (2006-2010).
