Xiaoqian Fan is currently an associate professor in Tianjin
University, China. She received M.A.degree from the Department of Linguistics and Modern Language, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006. She received the B.A. degree from the College of Foreign Languages, Tianjin Normal University in 2005. Her research interests focus on linguistics, the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, cross-cultural communication, the dissemination and protection of intangible cultural heritage.
