Yong Wang  

Professor, doctoral supervisor, person in charge of Analytical Chemistry and deputy director of chemistry department of science and technology in Tianjin University.

Prof. Wang received a double degree and a master's degree from Tianjin University in 2004 and 2007. Then he spent around four years in Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and gained a post-doctoral degree. He returned to China in January, 2012. And he was promoted to a professor in July ,2015.

Honours and Awards:

Election to the “Distinguished-CORE Talent Program of Tianjin University”, “Foundation for Distinguished Young Science and Technology Talents of Tianjin”, and “Tianjin "131" Innovative Talents Project”.

Principal Research Achievements:

• Up to now, Professor Wang has more than twenty papers published as the first author or correspondent author in internationally renowned academic journals including Nature Protocols., Anal. Chem., Chem. Commun., J. Chromatogr.A and other high-level journals.

• Five applications or authorizations of national patents.

• Participated in the compilation of "Comprehensive Chirality" (Elsevier) and "Chiral separation" (Springer Science) in English.

• Leaded and completed five projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Tianjin Science Foundation and Seed Funds and other projects.

• As the backbone to undertake 863 projects (total ranking 2), the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the key technologies R & D program of Tianjin.

• Current Research Interest 2：Synthesis and application of organic optoelectronic materials

• Current Research Interest 3：Synthesis and application of chiral chromatographic packings and selectors (organic synthesis, material, liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis and electrochromatography)
