Yunzi Luo, PI of Center for frontier science of synthetic biology, Tianjin University. Prof. Luo graduated from Tianjin University with a bachelor's degree in 2008 and a doctor's degree from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2014. From June 2014 to March 2015, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of biological genome, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. From 2015 to 2019, she was a researcher in the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy, Sichuan University. Since 2019, she has been a professor in school of chemical engineering, Tianjin University. In 2016, she was selected as one of the National Talent program. At present, she is a member of the synthetic biology Committee of the Chinese society of bioengineering, a member of the young scholars working committee of the Chinese biochemical industry, and a member of the youth working committee of the Chinese bioengineering Association.
