Our lab focuses on the efficient extraction, high-value regeneration, and circular utilization of valuable metals from retired lithium ion batteries. By integrating big data analytics with multi-scale simulation, it aims to elucidate the microscopic mechanisms and macroscopic behaviors underlying the recycling process. Additionally, it conducts life-cycle environmental risk assessment and simulation to establish a risk prevention and control system that spans from source reduction to process optimization, driving the strategic transformation of the battery recycling industry from end-of-pipe treatment toward proactive risk prevention and control.
