Dr Guo Hulun is an associate professor within School of Mechanical Engineering at Tianjin University. He received a Bachelor’s degree from China University of Petroleum, a Master’s Degree and PhD from Harbin Institute of Technology, respectively. During in TJU, he has also worked in City University of Hong Kong as a visiting scholar. His research interests cover linear/nonlinear vibration of structures, nonlinear suppression of structural vibration, dynamics of composite structures, flutter of fluid-structure, rotor dynamics, and dynamic modelling and numerical simulations by element free method. He is the Editorial Board Member of "Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements", "Scientific Reports", and "Journal of Applied Mathematics". He has published more than 40 international journal papers, and accumulated more than 1000 independent citations.
