Brief Introduction
Wei Guo is currently a professor in Tianjin University, China. He received M.S. and Ph.D degrees from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Tianjin University in 1991 and 1994 respectively. He received the B.S. degree in the Department of Automotive Engineering, Tsinghua University in 1988. Dr. Guo’s research interests focus on Modern Design Theories and Methods and Techniques, Manufacturing System Modeling and Management Theory and System Technology, Networked Manufacturing System Theory and System Technology.
He has presided and participates in more than 10 projects of international cooperation , provincial ministries and commissions and horizontal programs. He has been awarded more than 50 ministry awards, and has published over 10 papers in SCI / EI / ISTP and applied for and authorized 1 national invention and utility model patent. He has won the third prize of scientific and technological progress of the Ministry of Education in 1996.
