Kai HE received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Automation from Shenyang Agriculture University, Shenyang, China, in 1995 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Communication and Information System from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2003. He was a postdoctoral researcher in Peking University, Peking, China, from 2004 to 2006. He is currently an associate professor in the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at the Tianjin University, China. In addition, he was a visiting scholar in the School of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, from Apr. 2014 to Apr. 2015. His research interests include image registration, image inpainting, texture classification and 3D reconstruction.
